I'm curious why more manufacturers don't offer clothes in Small Tall (and to a lesser extent Medium Tall sizes, which is becoming pretty common).
Small Tall sizes fit me perfectly. Medium Tall fit me reasonably well, but usually I need to get button up shirts tailored to fit at the waist.
So far the only two businesses I've found offering shirts in Small Tall sizes Gap and Old Navy.
The Gap offers:
- T-Shirts: http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do...5&actFltr=true
(Everything, but the color brown is sold out)
Old Navy offers:
- Two Oxford Shirts: http://www.oldnavy.com/browse/catego...1565,&sortBy=0
(I swear they used to offer t-shirts as well)
I know that these manufacturers are making decisions like this based on whether there is a demand.
How can we let them know there IS in fact a demand? It can't cost them that much considering it's only something that is only offered online.
Thoughts?
THANK YOU! I thought maybe I was the only person out there who kept seeing the sizing charts for stores like Gap and Banana wondering why they had no clothing actually available in that size.
[By the way, in the year and a half since your post, all of the Gap Inc. stores have now decided to pretend that S Tall does not exist when you shop by size. Go figure.]
According to those charts, I am exactly a S Tall. Does this mean that I'm just plain out of luck and doomed to tailor everything (or buy sleeves too short and roll/push them up) for the rest of my life?
Since I was 18 Ive been struggling to find clothing that fits, and like many of you probably do, i get almost everything tailored, and Im sick of it i cant afford it and i really dont have the time.
Im 6'2" and 145 pounds, mediums are to big and to short, smalls are just plain to small, larges fit me in the shoulders but are generally too short, its very frustrating. its a relief to know im not the only one.
