They offer many of their clothes in Tall sizes from Medium Tall up.
I have purchased many button up shirts from The Gap, both in long and short sleeve. I really like the variety and style of casual button up shirts they offer. I have yet to buy any of their sweaters, but like to at some point.
Surprisingly, their Mediums fit me great, not their Medium Talls, which are actually too long for me! I used to wear clothes that were way to big, wide and long for me to try to cover up that I am so skinny and have legs that are abnormally long in comparison to my torso length. If only I realized how terrible it actually looked back then. I've come to accept my skinny body and now prefer clothes that fit me well.
So I go for their Medium instead of the Medium Tall. It's perfect in length in the torso and while it's close to being too short in the arm, it does fit even with the little bit of shrinkage. I have to get them tailored in width to fit my chest and waist area. I should not that I don't tuck shirts in.
Last, but certainly not least, they FINALLY have t-shirts in Small Tall. We just need to convince them that they should sell all their tops in Small Tall sizes, or at the very least their polos, sweaters and button ups. A Small Tall t-shirt is literally in the mail right now. I'll post an update when it comes. Bug me if I forget.
*Update*
WOW! The Small Tall t-shirt is a much better fit than anything I've ever worn before. It literally fits perfectly. Definitely worth checking out if you are as skinny as I am.

My older GAP tees from around 2005 were excellent. Good weight, great neck and shoulder lines, no bunching, and reasonably trim around the midsection.
Unfortunately, since about 2009, their tee shirts have really gone downhill. They're thin, downright flimsy. The neck ribbing doesn't lay as well. The arm length has been reduced. They shrink up much more than they used to, so my talls become normal length.
I'm going to try Eddie Bauer again, and I've heard good things about Land's End. It's too bad, though, because the older GAP tees were absolutely perfect!
